SAFETY POLICY

The organisers take safety at the show very seriously. The show is run in conjunction with the NTET’s Code of Practice. Public liability insurance up to £10m any one incident is in place with Footman James.

The show has uniformed security throughout, has two safety officers in attendance, Red Cross on site and duty doctor and vet on call. This information will be displayed clearly at rally control, security, the arena PA and in the rally programme. All stewards are issued with high visibility vests and there are radios issued in all parts of the showground. In the event of an emergency the nearest steward should be alerted. Fire cover is provided by Sharp Fire. Fire points are located throughout the site.

Toilets including 2 disabled toilets are positioned around the site. A site plan will be displayed at rally control, at security and in the programme. All exhibitors must have appropriate public liability insurance, licences, tax discs, boiler insurance, etc and agree to abide by vehicle movement restrictions.

All public are admitted to the site at their own risk. Safety barriers and fences are provided for all working machinery with suitable safety notices warning of the danger of moving vehicles and machinery displayed.
Any behaviour deemed to be a danger to the public and/or other exhibitors will result in the culprits being asked to leave. A full risk assessment is supplied to the local authorities.

IN WET CONDITIONS - NO VEHICLE MOVEMENTS - EXCEPT FOR EMERGENCIES
