The next show is: 19th-20th May 2012
2011 saw the eighth staging of the show at the picturesque Belvoir Castle after relocating from Tallington, near Stamford, its home for nine years.
Home to the Duke and Duchess of Rutland, the castle overlooks the rally field, which is on Knipton Pasture, a much larger and flatter site than the one used for the first few years at the estate.

Due to the late May Spring Bank holiday moving into June for 2012 and a number of events effectively moving from their regular weekend, the organisers of the Belvoir Castle Steam festival would like to advise all traders, exhibitors and potential visitors that we will be running on what is effectively the same weekend that we usually do, two weekends after the May Day Bank Holiday, which for 2012 will be 19th & 20th May.

Latest news is that we have a travelling wrestling show for the first time, and we also have the return of Ken Fox’s famous ‘Wall of Death’.

Plans are now at an advanced stage for the 2011 show, the 9th to be held at the Belvoir Castle Estate.
The tractor theme for the show this time will be Ferguson, Massey Ferguson and Massey Harris. Given that there is a huge following for 'Fergie' product, this will be a popular theme with exhibitors and visiting enthusiasts...

Glorious sunshine for Belvoir Castle Rally
Sponsored by Old Glory Magazine THE 2010 Belvoir Castle Steam Festival & Family Show, was held on 22/23 May amid glorious sunshine (for a welcome change!)

• Over 200 classic cars organised by the Grantham Classic Car Club
• Over 120 commercial vehicles, including buses and fire engines too
• Over 50 military vehicles including an off road course with tank rides and re-enactment groups

Belvoir Hunt (His Grace the Duke of Rutland Hounds) - meet the dogs under the leadership of MFH Rupert Inglesant as they parade daily in the Main Arena
Heavy Horses - see the Park Percherons and visiting guests in our Heavy Horse area and also in Main Ring Action
Rare Breeds Farm Animals - see Sheep, Cattle, Ponies and Poultry from volunteers of the East Midlands Support Group of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust
See the Pennine Carters Bernese Mountain Dogs and their highly decorated Carts parade daily in the Tractor arena

The Castle is 6 miles from the A1 at Grantham and 12 miles from
Melton Mowbray, Leicester, Nottingham and Stamford are within half
an hours drive.
Follow the brown heritage signs from the A1, A52,
A607 and A46.
