Belvoir Castle Steam Festival & Family Show will be on the 22/23 May 2010

Location

Belvoir Castle Estate, Woolsthorpe, Nr. Grantham.
Four miles from the A1 between A52 Grantham - Nottingham road and A607 Grantham - Melton Mowbray road. Set in the beautiful parkland of Belvoir Castle Estate with kind permission of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland

• Single Cylinder tractor special – including Lanz, McDonald, Marshall, Landini, etc.

• Special John Deere tractor Display

• Road Rescue Recovery Assocaiation (‘Triple RA’) annual gathering

AttractionsHelicopter Flights - take a bird's eye view of the show and the Castle courtesy of Sky Charter UK

Wild West Show - come along and see the Lawmen and Outlaws shootout as the Wild Bunch Western Showteam come to town - regular performances in their own custom built town complete with saloon

Birds of Prey - visit the static display from Backwoods Falconry and see them fly in the Tractor arena

Belvoir Hunt (His Grace the Duke of Rutland Hounds) - meet the dogs under the leadership of MFH Rupert Inglesant as they parade daily in the Main Arena

AttractionsHeavy Horses - see the Park Percherons and visiting guests in our Heavy Horse area and also in Main Ring Action

Rare Breeds Farm Animals - see Sheep, Cattle, Ponies and Poultry from volunteers of the East Midlands Support Group of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust

Dancing Digger - our headline arena show this year features a JCB being taken to it's limit in a series of breathtaking manouvres not to be missed

See the Pennine Carters Bernese Mountain Dogs and their highly decorated Carts parade daily in the Tractor arena

AttractionsDog Agility Championship - see dogs and handlers working in harmony over obstacles and against the clock in top flight competition {own arena}

Bounce around on Inflatables from the Jolly Jesters, go Bungee trampolining with Maxx Leisure, try your hand at Paintballing, take a thrill ride on William Abbot's Simulator or take part in the latest craze of Zorbing {Land sphering} with Silver's Zorbing

On Sunday catch the Paper Wizard with his Origami, Papercraft and Balloon Modelling

Public Camping

Adjacent to the rally site is a large field with running water, toilets and Elsan disposal. Campers have free access to the show throughout the weekend, and can enjoy the evening entertainment in either beer tent.
